The food was outstanding, especially the fish and chips, while service was friendly and professional. The room was beautifully designed and comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. the shower lacked adequate water pressure, which detracted from the experience, and the noise from outside was somewhat disruptive. there could have been more variety offered at breakfast for different options.

Family experience with a few bumps
The staff at this place were absolutely brilliant. After a long drive we arrived with our kids, and even though dinner had just finished, the chef went out of his way to whip us up a venison pie that was honestly delicious. I couldn't believe it—I mean, what a gesture!
It wasn't exactly a bargain, but given the service we received, I can't complain too much.

The beer garden was a lovely surprise, and we enjoyed strolls along the 1066 walking route with the whole family. The room was spacious and cozy, perfect for our needs. Breakfast was a highlight with many tasty options, just like the meals offered in the pub.
In my wife’s opinion, better safety measures for kids on the stairs would be great.
